Angel Gonzalez Angel Gonzalez Angel Gonzalez was a high level Division 1 recruit out of Torrance High School playing SS, 3B, and 2B. Gonzalez was a 4 year letterman at Torrance batting 415% his senior year with 5 home runs. He was a one time Second Team All League recipient and then a three time 1st Team All League recipient and offensive player of the year. During his high school career Gonzalez played travel baseball for the Mariners Scout Team and the Arizona Aggies, featuring 2nd overall pick Druw Jones and 4th overall pick Termarr Johnson of the 2022 Major league draft. Gonzalez had multiple Division 1 scholarship offers but signed his National Letter of Intent with California State Long Beach, due to injury he ended up at El Camino College where he currently plays 3rd base. He is sure to be back at the Division 1 level after his stint in junior college. Gonzalez currently offers hitting, fielding, and speed/agility lessons. We are lucky to have such a high level talent and baseball mind coaching in our facility. Gonzalez does a great job connecting with the kids and getting the most out of his clients due to his technical teaching and confidence building.
